The challenge for this project was to improve the comfort and aesthetic of the staff's Quiet Room at my work for close to $100. This space is available at all times for employees to recharge, relax, pray, or decompress. The square brown room was in desperate need of an aesthetic upgrade, and cozier furnishings to improve the comfort and calming energy of the space. With a small budget I focused on thrift stores and Facebook marketplace for all items. By sewing throw cushions and upholstered seats with thrifted fabrics, reviving furniture pieces with paint, and utilizing handmade art, the entire room was completed for a total of $110.
